ABOUT THE GUITARIST

Gregory Paul Rago was born in Neptune, NJ in 1977. Many years later, a good friend played him a recording by John Fahey. Utterly dumbfounded, Gregory clositered himself away in his small Baltimore apartment for two years to teach himself how to perform in the rural American fingerstyle tradition.

Since then he has recorded one solo album, All Green Places Are Lost, released in 2004 with an accompanying comic of the same name by Eamon Espey, the aforementioned friend. That same year he formed the instrumental rock band YEVETO. With YEVETO, he wrote a new score for the German Expressionist silent film, Der Golem, and released an 8-song EP entitled For Stars and Atoms. His second solo recording Sophie Blanchard Falls to Her Death was released in August 2008.
